Wes and I had a huge job in trying to pick a winner for this week's Photo Friday contest. We loved seeing all of your animals! More than 100 photos were submitted of all manner of cats, dogs, birds, pigs, donkeys, and various reptilian types. We sorted through the best we could, looking for photos that were particularly well-done - good composition AND cute pet. We know that everyone loves their pets and thinks they are the cutest animals on the planet. This is as it should be.

We love the look on Karma the dog's face. And that kitten is just TOO cute. We felt this was an extremely expressive photo and loved how much of a story it told. We would like to know... are those feathers sticking out of Karma's mouth or maybe... a little bit of kitten?
